The RiderNav R7M is a 7-inch display designed exclusively for BMW motorcycles.
It’s built for effortless setup — just plug it in, lock it, and ride.

1. Installation

Step 1 — Check your cradle
Make sure your BMW Navigation Cradle is a genuine OEM cradle. The R7M is powered directly from the cradle and relies on BMW’s original connectors to function properly.

Step 2 — Insert and lock
Slide the R7M into the BMW Navigation Cradle until you hear a click sound.
Then, use your BMW key to lock it in place securely.
This ensures the display is stable and protected during your ride.

Step 3 — Verify stability
Gently push and pull the R7M to confirm it’s seated firmly and does not move.
A secure fit prevents vibration and ensures safe operation.

2. Power and Start-Up

Once installed, the R7M is powered directly by the BMW Navigation Cradle.
When you start your motorcycle, the R7M turns on automatically—no buttons required.
If the ignition is turned off, the R7M will power down accordingly.

3. Connecting Your Phone

After powering on, connect your smartphone via CarPlay (for iPhone) or Android Auto (for Android).
Your phone’s screen will appear on the R7M display, letting you access:

• Navigation apps such as Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze
• Music and podcasts through Spotify, Apple Music, or similar apps
• Calls and messages hands-free via your headset or helmet intercom

4. Ride and Enjoy

Once connected, you can control the display and apps directly from your BMW handlebar or touchscreen, depending on your setup.
Enjoy seamless navigation, music, and ride information — all in one integrated view.

Tip:
If the R7M does not power on, recheck your cradle connection or confirm that your BMW Navigation Cradle is OEM and fully powered.
