So far, I was using a Navigator VI on my BMW R 1200 RS (2018 model).
Today I installed a RiderNav R7M.
I'm happy to report that:
o The unit appears perfectly centered (left/right-wise) when riding.
o The Wonder Wheel works perfectly, even in the absence of TFT screen/MENU button.
o Apple CarPlay works perfectly.
o The unit happily performed an OTA firmware update from whatever version was factory-installed to 1.6.4-112-A000, using only 4GB of storage capacity.
o The unit displays the motorcycle's lean angle. I don't think that piece of data was available to me before today.
In other words, I'm a very satisfied customer!👍🏼
Das R7X ist ein tolles Gerät. Ich habe es auf meiner Tenere im Einsatz und bin echt begeistert. Zusammen mit den TPMS Sensoren hilft es einem beim einfach navigieren mittels CarPlay. Ich finde die Größe super, könnte mir aber auch gut vorstellen ein Gerät in 6 Zoll wäre etwas handlicher
The BMW I have is the 2018 S1000XR and it doesn't have an LCD screen like the newer models. So in addition to the features that have now been added, the look of my dashboard has also been upgraded.
The clarity of the screen just blew me away, really intuitive, everything just worked flawlessly.simply perfect.

Super-Navi, ich bin sehr zufrieden.
Zum Update, Navi war in der Motorrad-BMW Halterung platziert, Update hat einwandfrei funktioniert.
Was ich vermisse wäre ein Adapter, ähnlich wie bei Carpuride, um am Schreibtisch die Updates im Büro durchführen zu können.
Auf Dauer ist es lästig immer den USB-C Anschluss zu verwenden.

Ho acquistato il RiderNav R7M e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. La qualità costruttiva si nota fin dal primo utilizzo: il display da 7” è grande, nitido e molto leggibile, mentre il sistema risulta fluido e intuitivo.
Un punto di forza, soprattutto per chi possiede una BMW, è l’integrazione con la rotellona,che permette di gestire le principali funzioni senza dover utilizzare continuamente il touch.
Anche la connettività è semplice e affidabile.
L’installazione è stata facile e il dispositivo si integra molto bene con la moto senza compromettere la visuale del TFT.
Ottima anche la sensazione generale di solidità e la resistenza alle condizioni atmosferiche.
Dopo averlo utilizzato su strada posso dire che ha migliorato davvero l’esperienza di viaggio: navigazione più comoda, informazioni sempre a portata di mano e un display finalmente ben visibile anche durante la guida.
Heb de Ridernav nog niet zo lang in gebruik maar tot op heden zeer tevreden.
Display is helder en groot. Aangesloten op de cradle van m'n BMW R1200GS werkt het feilloos. Echt een aanrader.

Después de mi frustración inicial, la falta de un manual, sí, no viene un manual con el RiderNav, me he peleado con él durante estos primeros 15 días, desde que lo recibí; solo he intentado que funcionara como había entendido que debería hacerlo. Tengo que decir que he recibido todo el apoyo de soporte, lo cual demuestra que la compra mereció la pena. 5 estrellas para soporte, gracias, Erika. Le doy 4 estrellas, porque hay cosas que faltan por pulir; es posible que vuelva a editar la reseña en el futuro, con más tiempo de uso y actualizaciones que corrijan los problemas detectados.

La integración simultánea entre la pantalla BMW TFT, el intercomunicador de casco, el smartphone y RiderNav puede generar conflictos en los canales de Bluetooth si no se configura con el orden de conexión adecuado. Asimismo, la navegación con la Wonder Wheel y la actualización OTA disponen de rutas específicas y atajos de control para facilitar el manejo.

Fantastic peace of kit plug it and away you go .. I use google maps through CarPlay for iPhone ,you can take calls listen to music all you need is some comfortable ear buds .. the whole setup very intuitive and easy to use 👍
Sehr wertiges Navigationsgerät. Lässt sich sehr gut über das Wonderwheel steuern. Ich bin zufrieden.
Ho avuto un altro carplay su un'altra moto (non BMW), e lo trovavo complicato nella gestione. Oltretutto quando viaggi i comandi vocali sono difficilmente utilizzabili. Con il Ridernav r7m dedicato a questa marca, chiaramente se si dispone dell'attacco gps, diventa un'altra faccenda. Dopo avere imparatoni comandi, forse la cosa 8n pochino più complicata, diventa facile passare da un menù all'altro. Navigare e ne contempo sentire la musica. Rispondere al telefono o chiamare. Se poi si vuole si puo utilizzarlo come schermo alternativo all'originale o disporre di un altro schermo con altre informazioni. Per concludere per chi possiede una BMW consigliatissimo ed in ultimo ma no. Meno importante anche i 7 pollici non interferiscono minimamente con il parabrezza elettrico

Es una pasada, tardo solo 6 días desde Alemania a Algeciras España, el producto es espectacular, brillo potente gráficas con muy buena resolución y super completo muy fácil de sincronizar, la única pega es que no puedo sincronizar mi GoPro 8, a ver si con alguna actualización se podría solucionar así como las revoluciones en distintos color ....
Nada más recibirlo,,me fui de vacaciones a probarlo,, estaba indeciso entre este y otro de 5 pulgadas,,yo recomiendo este,,se ve muy bien,, incluso con Sol de lleno,,se ve bien,,y en los 8 días de viaje a ido de cine,,no se ha quedado colgado en ningún momento,,y se conecta solo,,y funciona bien con la pila de la BMW,,lo recomiendo si
After a few weeks of use I can give my experience with it.
Pros: big display with good brightness, works seamless with wonderwheel, connects quick with my phone and the touchscreen works great with gloves
Cons: it needs an sd card for firmware update. if you start the bike while it boots it froze once until I did a power cycle, at the time I was on version 1.5.6
I've had the opportunity to install several similar devices on my GS, but none have impressed me as much as Ridernav. The build quality, fluidity, and easy-to-read display in all conditions make it the absolute leader. I'd also like to point out that the device was even used in constant rain for over 3 hours without ever having any difficulty using it or selecting options on its touchscreen display. What can I say? I highly recommend this product, and good luck to everyone, especially those who choose to follow my advice. ✌️
